- Chain
of Ponds Wines: Caj and Genny are ecstatic about the news
that their 1997 Chain of Ponds Chardonnay has been selected by
the US Wine Spectator Magazine in their Top 100 Wines of 1999
(in the world)!! It came in at Number 16. This news has topped
off a fantastic year for Chain of Ponds.

- Currency
Creek Wines: The word 'unique' might have been coined just
to describe Tonkin's Currency Creek Winery. It is a winemaker's
Garden of Eden. Just 10 kilometres from the Southern Ocean the
sprawling vineyard is adjacent to the River Murray Lakes System
and together, these watery expanses create a unique microclimate.
Prevailing cool sea breezes, mild winters and cool summers result
in early bud burst and a much longer ripening period for the grapes.
What follows is a premium fruit of rare flavour and quality.

- Fox
Creek Wines: A change in personnel has brought a pleasing
change in winemaking approach to this highly rated but still emergent
young McLaren Vale label. Despite its typical concentration and
richness, there's a vivacious brightness to its brambly, spicy
dark fruit and it keeps well on the smart side of over-oaking
or portiness. Its luxuriantly deep, dark, liqueur chocolate palate
can't conceal a smoky oak influence, while its tannins are as
fine as they are firm.

- Geoff
Weaver Wines: Producer of premium chardonnay, sauvignon blanc
and pinot noir wines, located in the Lenswood subregion of Australia's
Adelaide Hills.
