Horse Coaches: Pokolbin Horse Coaches is a family run
business, and since 1987 has offered exceptional quality
tours of the Hunter Valley Wine Country from the
vantage of a horse drawn carriage, drawn by Clydesdales,
the gentle giants. Every tour comes with a special outdoor
picnic with a smorgasbord of crusty bread rolls, meat platters,
cheese boards and salads, followed by tea and coffee, and
port. These are under the trees, or covered areas in adverse
weather. Our coach drivers have a wealth of knowledge about
the area, the vineyards, and the people, and will introduce
you to the friendly cellar door staff at each winery.
