Aloft Australia: Balloon Aloft chooses the launch sites within
the Sydney region according to the winds on the morning
of the flight. Flights are daily at sunrise, weather permitting.
We will pick you up from a central location in the Central Business
District, or we can meet you at Camden Airport, located approximately
1 hours drive from the Central Business District down the Hume
Highway. Sunrise flights are also held in the Hunter Valley
daily all year round. We meet 1/2 hour before dawn at the Balloon
Aloft property which is located no more than 15 minutes drive
from the accommodation houses of Cessnock and Pokolbin. After
a cup of coffee or tea and a flight briefing, passengers are transported
to the chosen launch site for the day. This can be anywhere in
the valley depending on the direction the wind is blowing. You
may be flying over hills, rivers, forests, vineyards, or farmland.
The views are breathtaking as you can see how vast the valley
is once aloft.
