Galvin's Edge Hill B&B is located centrally in Cairns' oldest & most picturesque suburb, we are a handy five minutes from the airport and five minutes from downtown Cairns. We only accept one booking at a time so you are guaranteed the whole place to yourselves - no need to share. Whether single, double, family or two groups traveling together, with our special blend of hospitality and privacy, you won't be disappointed at Galvin's!

• Lilybank B & B: There is something immediately inviting about traditional "Queenslander" homesteads. Set in tropical gardens, their wide, shady verandahs, high ceilings with cooling fans and beautiful timberwork suggest romantic sojourns in the tropics. Lilybank Bed and Breakfast, in the leafy Cairns ' suburb of Stratford, and only 10 minutes from the city centre, is just such a home.

• Licuala Lodge: The Lodge is an award winning Queenslander pole home. Guest accommodation, which is separate to the main house, is fully ensuite. We have a great swimming pool with a waterfall feature and beach entry - it has just got to be the best in the area. The colourful grounds have a tropical feel to them - lots of native plants to attract scores of birds and butterflies, including the Ulysses. If you fancy a few cuttings from the garden just ask Mick (the head gardener, waiter, repair man etc..) - he will gladly oblige.
